Abstract

Based on trends in recent years, the fintech industry in Indonesia has grown rapidly, but it is influenced by several factors including Population by working age, Internet-based economy, Internet penetration rate, Probability of unbanked and underbanked population, Financial literacy and inclusion, and digital literacy and inclusion, Supportive regulatory environment, Investment in fintech. In the agribusiness sector itself, the application of fintech has the potential to increase efficiency and productivity, but there are also challenges that must be faced as well as challenges that must be faced in this sector such as regulation, infrastructure and the level of digital literacy of the community towards understanding. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods, sourced from journals, articles, books. This research method aims to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities of fintech adoption in the agribusiness sector, particularly in the context of sustainability in Indonesia, through literature review and analysis of relevant information. In this context, it is important for the government to play an active role in developing more adaptable regulations. Regulations that support fintech development in the agribusiness sector need to be designed by considering the latest technological developments and changing market dynamics. Fintech can provide solutions to some of these challenges.
