AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Author Guidelines
Journal of Innovation and Scientific Collaboration (JISC)
The Journal of Innovation and Scientific Collaboration (JISC) invites high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the fields of innovation, scientific research, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Authors are expected to adhere to the following guidelines when preparing their submissions.
1. Manuscript Submission
- All manuscripts must be submitted online through the JISC submission system: https://pspmas.org/index.php/JISC.
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- The manuscript must be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Authors are required to use the JISC manuscript template, available for download here.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should follow the structure below:
2.1 Title
- The title should be concise, clear, and informative, with a maximum of 16 words.
2.2 Abstract
- Abstract length: 150–250 words.
- Written in English (for all submissions).
- Should include: Purpose, Methodology, Findings, and Implications.
- Include 3–5 keywords.
2.3 Introduction
- Explain the background, research gap, and objectives of the study.
2.4 Literature Review
- Provide a comprehensive review of relevant literature.
- Clearly define the theoretical framework used.
2.5 Methodology
- Clearly describe the research design, data collection, and data analysis methods.
2.6 Results and Discussion
- Present key findings supported by tables, figures, and charts (if applicable).
- Discuss how the findings contribute to the field.
2.7 Conclusion
- Summarize key insights and provide practical implications.
- Suggest future research directions.
2.8 References
- Follow the APA 7th Edition citation style.
- Ensure that all references cited in the manuscript are listed in the reference section and vice versa.
3. Formatting Requirements
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.
- Margin: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and captioned clearly.
- Equations should be editable and numbered.
4. Plagiarism Policy
- JISC strictly adheres to COPE guidelines on plagiarism.
- All manuscripts will undergo plagiarism checks. The similarity index must be below 20%.
5. Authorship and Contributions
- All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research.
- Any changes to authorship after submission must be approved by the editorial team.
6. Peer Review Process
- JISC uses a double-blind peer review process.
- Review decisions will be communicated to authors within 6–8 weeks of submission.
7. Publication Ethics
- Authors must comply with the ethical standards outlined by COPE.
- Conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
- Research involving human or animal subjects must include ethical approval statements.
8. Article Processing Charges (APC)
- JISC currently charges no APCs for accepted articles.
- All articles are open access under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
9. Copyright and Licensing
- Authors retain the copyright of their work.
- Articles are published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 International License (View License).
